On-Field Training Sessions

On-field 1-on-1 and group training sessions are offered weekly at Mohr Performance. Field sessions are one of the primary ways quarterbacks make dramatic progress in their development.

What types of on-field training do you offer?

We offer private 1:1 training, semi-private training (no more than 3 total QBs), and group sessions (max of 8 QBs). Groups are made by age and grade.

What is the difference between your group sessions and other trainer's group sessions?

Our group sessions are tailored to help quarterbacks consistently grow and make progress. To ensure we see the growth and development, we also cap our group sessions at 8 quarterbacks, or make sure there is a low player:coach ratio.

It is important to us that we don't just put you through a work out. Every single rep is coached and players are consistently receiving feedback. We do not take a rep off when providing feedback to our players.

What can I expect from a 1:1 session?

No two athletes are the same so neither should their training. Quarterback's can expect 1:1 sessions to be completely tailored to them and work on what they need to improve. 1:1 sessions are a slower pace which allows the athlete to learn and implement the lessons being taught and have the full attention of the coach.

Can I receive drills to work on after the sessions?

Yes. In addition to field sessions, we will send a film breakdown when necessary, to individual quarterbacks with drills to work on at home to maximize and accelerate their growth. To protect quarterbacks from overthrowing, these drills do not require throwing any footballs, but instead use household items such as a towel/t-shirt or tennis ball. It is up to the quarterback to do these drills and report back/send video clips back to the coach to ensure drills are being done properly.

Online Training Sessions

Our online training program is the most comprehensive online training platforms available.

How does online training work?

We have multiple options for online training. You can purchase exercise programs, throwing programs or purchase fundamental breakdown of your throw.

Do you offer coverage and scheme teaching?

Yes, we do. In these sessions we will go over basic coverages, variations of coverages as well as what offensive scheme is best to beat those coverages.

We’ll teach the strengths and weaknesses of coverages, the philosophy behind them, and what quarterback’s need to look for to quickly and confidently identify multiple coverages. In addition to the teaching, the quarterbacks will be presented scenarios in which they will draw up their own play for situational downs, and then review how that will work with any given coverage they may see.

What can I expect from online training sessions?

For all types of online sessions, you can expect the provided the structure and resources to find success. Obviously, because most of the online training sessions are virtual, it is on the athlete to hold themselves accountable to push themselves and follow the plans to the best of their ability.
