about mohr performance

Meet the team dedicated to developing young athletes, on and off the field.

Being a quarterback is not easy – and it’s not supposed to be. Playing quarterback is the greatest position in all of sports and it will stretch you to become the best version of yourself on and off the field. In addition to becoming the best quarterback you can be, we will help you develop as a leader so that you can succeed at a high level in all aspects of life.

At Mohr Performance, we pride ourselves in helping athletes grow as quarterbacks and young men. Off the field development is just as important as on the field development. We are developing champions for life. If you decide to be a part of this community then you are committing to developing habits and skills that will serve you for the rest of your life well beyond the football field.

Joe Mohr

Founder, Head Trainer, PA-C, DMSc, CSCS

Joe Mohr grew up in Long Beach, California and played at Santa Ana Valley High School in Santa Ana, California. There, he went on to win the Orange League MVP and Offensive Player of the Year while breaking several school records.

After high school, Joe went on to play at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Upon graduating from George Fox University he began coaching at Valley High School as a quarterback coach and offensive coordinator. In his 3rd season coaching, he was named coach of the year in the Orange League.

Joe started Mohr Performance because he saw a need for a training environment for quarterbacks that they can trust to develop their skills. Through his years of playing and coaching, he saw how the highs and lows of training and realized athletes need to be a part of something they can trust will bring them the most up to date and best principles to help achieve their goals – and so Mohr Performance was developed.

In addition to the training, Joe is a Physician Associate with his Doctorate of Medical Science. He is passionate to use his healthcare license to help athletes in ways that have never been done before. At Mohr Performance we will challenge the status quo and set the standard of what peak performance looks like.
